Fence and deck service

Cedar takes a beating in North Texas.

Heat, clay soil that moves and the odd hailstorm are hard on fences. Most of the time only a few posts or boards need attention.

  • Posts and rails

Leaning or snapped posts reset, rails re-secured.

  • Pickets, boards and stairs

Rotted or split pickets and deck boards swapped out, plus deck stairs and railings.

  • Gates

Sagging gates squared up, with new hinges, latches or a brace.

Full fence replacement and new deck builds are bigger projects. Tell us what you're thinking and we'll say honestly whether it's a repair or a rebuild.

A few details help us plan.

Photos of the whole run and the damaged part help.

  • A photo or two

One wide, one close on the damage.

  • How many sections

A single post or a long run changes the visit.

  • Access

Gate width and anything blocking the way.

Common questions

Fence & deck repair questions

Still have a question? Get in touch
How much does fence repair cost?
It depends on how many posts or pickets need work, whether the wood is soft or rotten, whether the gate needs rebuilding, and how much of the run is affected. See a price range
Should I repair or replace my fence?
A few bad pickets, a leaning post or a sagging gate is a repair. When most of the posts are rotted at the ground or the whole run is leaning, replacing it usually makes more sense. We focus on repairs, and if a fence is past repairing we'll tell you.
Can you match my existing pickets?
Usually. New cedar starts lighter and weathers toward the old boards over a season or two.
Do you stain or seal?
Staining and sealing aren't part of a repair visit, so new wood is left unstained. If you plan to stain, give the new wood time to dry out first.
