TV mounting service

A better spot for your screen.

Tell us your TV size, the wall type and whether you already have a mount. We'll confirm what the job needs before anything is scheduled.

  • Wall-mount installation

Studs found and marked, or masonry anchors for brick and stone. Fixed, tilting and full-motion brackets.

  • Viewing height and placement

We'll check the seating position, the glare and, on a fireplace wall, the mantel clearance.

  • Cables kept out of sight

Low-voltage cables inside the wall where the wall allows it, or a slim paintable channel on brick and stone.

Adding a new power outlet behind the TV is line-voltage electrical work, which needs a licensed electrician in Texas. Ask about it when you call.

A few details help us plan.

Have a photo of the wall handy when we talk.

  • TV size

Screen size and rough weight decide the bracket.

  • Wall type

Drywall, brick, stone or tile each drill differently.

  • Mount already bought?

Keep the hardware bag, or tell us the TV model.

Common questions

TV mounting questions

Still have a question? Get in touch
How much does TV mounting cost?
It depends on the wall, the TV size and the cables. A TV on a regular stud wall is the quickest job. Brick or stone, a fireplace, hiding cables inside the wall and screens over 75 inches all add time. See a price range
Is it worth hiring someone to mount a TV?
For a small TV on a regular wall, many people do it themselves. It's worth hiring when the wall is brick or stone, the TV goes over a fireplace, the set is 65 inches or bigger, or you want the cables hidden in the wall.
Can you mount a 75-inch or larger TV?
Yes. Tell us the size when you call. Screens over 75 inches may need a second person, and we plan the visit around that.
Do I need to buy a mount first?
No. Tell us what you have, or the TV model, and we'll bring a bracket that fits the set and the wall.
Can you mount above the fireplace?
Usually yes, on brick or stone with the right anchors. We check mantel clearance and how warm the wall gets, and we'll say so if it's a bad idea.
Can you hide the cables?
On drywall we can run low-voltage cables inside the wall. On brick, stone or tile we use a slim channel that paints over.
Can you take down an old mount?
Yes. Removing the old bracket and patching the holes is a common add-on, and we can paint the patch if you have the color.
Do you mount TVs on a patio?
We can mount a TV rated for outdoor use on a covered patio. We don't put indoor sets outside, because the weather ruins them.
